Pamela Zuppardo wanted two things – a first home and a future investment property.
The Kyabram school teacher was thinking about building her own home after a long period of renting and started to look into local builders.
“I thought if I could build a house, it would end up being an investment property one day and would be worth the effort,” Pamela said.
“It took a year for me to pick a builder – I just went around to all the display homes and talked to other people who had built.”
It was Cavalier Homes’ first point of contact that impressed Pamela when she inspected their display home.
“Jess at Cavalier was really helpful when I was first looking around,” she said.
“She was really interested in what I was doing and she wasn’t pushy either – she was friendly and open and I really liked the style of the house. You have to like what they do.”
Several of Pamela’s friends also had good experiences with Cavalier Homes, cementing her decision to choose the builder.
Her home has three bedrooms and two living areas, making it a good candidate for a family home in the future. Cavalier also worked closely with her on a number of unique features within the home, including the pillars that flank the inviting front door.
During the building process, Pamela said Jason and Scott kept her informed.
“They always knew who I was the moment I walked in the door of their office, which is really nice,” she said.
“Even after I moved in, they were still checking on me. I know that even after months of not talking to them, they’d still remember who I was.
“I’ve already recommended them to other people in the area who are looking at building a house. Ultimately, it was the design, the price and the quality of materials they use.
