I had been looking for a builder for our large house on a sloping block for 2 years. Many had been contacted, many had ignored us, and many had given astronomical quotes and we had inspected quite a few of the houses already built but been disappointed by the quality.
We stumbled on Cavalier homes one day as they were building a house near our block. We had been watching the progress of the house and were impressed with what we saw in terms of build quality. We rang the builder and Michael met us at the house he was building from the owners design and gave us a tour.
For value for money it was second to none. Michael helped us adopt the design to our block in a process that was quick and stress free. Instead of finding obstacles to what we specifically wanted he found solutions and nothing seemed too much trouble to adjust.
Once we had council approval work progressed steadily. As anyone who builds a house knows, there are always changes you make once you start. We made a lot of changes and Michael just adapted and helped.
We had regular site inspections to make sure everything was going to plan and were involved start to finish. In the end we have ended up with a dream home which is beautifully designed and as solid as a rock.
