Contemporary
What is Contemporary style?
Contemporary style is classic and timeless. It is a light-handed approach to decorating, when done correct, this style will never feel dated.
The key to achieving this design style is to keep it simple, using clean lines, play on texture and be a little dramatic. Find the right balance and you will have a beautiful contemporary styled home.
How to achieve this style in your new home!
Working with your Cavalier Homes Colour Consultant, they will be able to offer your advice and insider style tips to create a colour selection in this style.
For your internal colour selection, start with the walls and select a tone of white, grey, or black for the paint. Then pair with a similar toned carpet or tile for the floors. From there bring in some texture and colours with your furnishings.
For your external colour selection, go for a dark tone for your brick or render. From there add a feature of a neutral wood or stone to lighten up the exterior. The trick to pairing light and dark colours together, is to ensure the underlining tone of these colours match.
